Do you know what's the difference between 'ialah' and 'adalah'?

I just finished my PMR exam a week ago and I'm curious on how many Malaysian actually know about this thing. I bet only 40% know this. Cause when I watch the TV or listen the radio, it seems like everyone's wrong. Even the newest Celcom ad is wrong.You know, the 'Kini 012, 017 ADALAH Celcom'. It's supposed to be 'ialah' coz Celcom is a noun, not an adjective or conjunction.
