How can I delay my period this week?

I have a romantic weekend planned and today I noticed very slight spotting this is the start of my period (it's extremely light right now) I am currently only using condoms and birth control but a couple months ago I was taking the pill yasmin so i was wondering if I was to take an active bc pill for the next 3-4 day will that help push back my period even thou I have been off bc pills for about 5 months now?
