Is Islam a religion of hatred? Most Muslims seem to be bent on killing Christians and Jews.?

I am sending this question to Muslims. In the Christian Bible it says we should love one another. I Corinthians 13 tells us how love manifests itself. The NT book of I John is all about God's love for us. Mark 12:29,30 also says we should love God and our neighbor-- and says even our enemy is our neighbor so we should love them too. Is there anything in the Koran about this kind of love? A self-sacrificing love that gives of oneself to benefit those who want to hurt me. This question is an honest one. I really want to know what it says. All I see from Islam is anger and hatred. Show me another side of this religion.
