Is it easy to repair a front brake caliper with a frozen piston 2006 scion tc?

I know the piston is stuck because it wont compress back into the caliper while i replaced my pads. I have a brake caliper kit on the way. Just wondering how to get the stuck piston out. Chould I use compressed air into the fluid zerk? Pls help!
